The next thing I cooked was chicken stew with pesto bread and olives. I got it from the same recipe book as I got the lamb chops one from. I took all the skin off the chicken and fried them golden brown. Then I made the tomato sauce which was basically chopped tomato with salt, peppper and a little sugar. Then I added the olives and the chicken to the sauce. Then I cooked it in the oven for about an hour.
Then I did something I saw Hugh from River Cottage do which was pesto in bread. I ground some pine nuts and garlic. Then some basil leaves. Then I grated some parmesan and at the same time, my finger! I added the parmesan and some olive oil to the mixture and stirred it.
This is what it looks like
I cooked some pasta to go with it and it was delicious at the end!!!!!!
This is the Cooking Goalie's brother enjoying his tea!!!
NEXT TIME ON THE COOKING GOALIE..... MEATBALLS!!!

Wow! Looks amazing it really does! Very rustic cooking. I think I might look into getting the silver spoon for myself as I like cooking for my family too. I'll look forward to seeing the meatballs!
